Based in New York City since its inception in 1866, the organization's mission is "to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States."

Abandond Animal Rescue

AAR’s mission is to work towards ending pet overpopulation that results in the euthanasia of unwanted cats and dogs. We do this by providing a rescue and adoption center, by emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering and by educating on humane animal ownership. AAR is committed to the emotional, physical, and behavioral well being of each animal in our care. In addition to providing a shelter for abandoned animals, AAR has foster families for special needs animals, litters, and rehabilitation.

Forgotten Dogs 4 Forgotten Vets

We provide disabled honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces with a professionally trained service dog from local shelters and rescues to assist with their disabilities.

Every service dog costs between $12,000 and $15,000 to select, train and pair with a veteran in need. Our goal is to train 40 dogs a year with the support of our partners and sponsors. The average wait to receive a service dog is 1-5 years and we want to bridge that gap and train the veteran along with their service dog.

Guide Dogs of America

Guide Dogs of America transforms lives through partnerships with service dogs. We breed, raise, and train guide dogs for those who are blind/visually impaired and service dogs for veterans and children with autism. Our highly skilled canines become trusted companions that increase confidence, mobility, and independence.

The Jane Goodall Institute

Wags & Walks

Wags and Walks is focused on advocating for wrongfully stereotyped bully breeds, medical dogs, and mamas + puppies that are often overlooked and at-risk due to overcrowding. We do not select dogs based on their size, age, or breed. We select our dogs on a case-by-case basis, factoring in our ability to help and their likelihood of thriving when placed in the right home.

We know that, like amazing dogs, loving families come in all shapes and sizes. Our goal is to find every pup an adopter whose home, family, and lifestyle are a perfect fit for a lifetime of love and happiness.
